The SPRO Baby Fat John 50 is a slightly smaller version of the original Fat John 60 shallow diving crankbait. Measuring 2 inches and weighing 3/8 ounce, the Baby Fat John offers refined action in the 2 foot depth range that is perfect for finicky shallow water bass. The lure’s fiberglass bill creates an unpredictable hunting action, wildly kicking it left and right and then returning to center to precisely imitate the swimming motion of a fleeing baitfish.
The lure is well-tuned so it runs just as consistently at a slow crawl as it does on a burning fast retrieve. Pre-rigged with quality size 5 Gamakatsu treble hooks.
